About Erika

I've spent over 25 years performing and teaching music professionally, including drums and percussion for pre-Broadway and regional theater productions, orchestras, and touring ensembles. I hold a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University.

Alongside performing, I've taught drums and percussion for all levels, and beginning piano students of all ages for decades. I believe learning music should be fun no matter whether a student wants to play professionally or just for the joy of it, and I bring the same care and attention to a first-time 5-year-old student that I bring to a professional stage.
